To promote a healthy, comfortable and enjoyable environment for our guests and staff, smoking is prohibited in all of our locations. Windmill Inns & Suites and Village Suites will comply with all location specific regulations regarding "Smoke-Free" businesses.
Designated outdoor smoking areas for our guests who wish to smoke are provided away from the public areas. Our Guest Service Agents will be happy to direct you to these locations at the time of check-in. A complete explanation of our smoking policy is printed on the registration card and must be initialed by all guests upon check-in.
As a "smoke-free" property, we guarantee a clean, fresh and safe room for our guests. When a guest smokes in their room or allows a visitor to smoke in their room, the smoke then permeates the rugs, bedspreads, pillows, curtains, etc. It can travel through the air ducts to other areas of the property. It is then necessary for us to remove the smoke odor by cleaning or replacing all of the curtains, bed linens, carpeting, air filters, etc. In some instances, the room must be repainted to eliminate the offending smoke odor. When it is necessary for us to detail and/or deodorize a room due to smoking, a charge will be assessed to the registered guests.
Our "Smoke-Free" policy has been greatly received and appreciated by the overwhelming majority of our guests - even by guests who smoke. This policy is part of the service and quality of stay at Windmill Inns & Suites and Village Suites.
